UK-EU talks going on, deal might be unveiled soon

Agency: The UK and the EU are continuing talks on a post-Brexit trade agreement. A deal might be expected to be unveiled on Thursday, according to BBC.

BBC writes that negotiators in Brussels are trying to finalise detail on fishing quotas. It is reported that these fishing talks have been proved as obstacle during the month of talks.

The deal document will be around 2,000 pages long.

The deal would end the prospect of the two sides imposing widespread import taxes and tariffs and each other’s goods.

The UK had left the European Union on 31 January 31, 2020. However, the leaders needed time to negotiate a deal. The UK and the EU have time until 31 December 2020 to agree a trade deal and things such as fishing rights.
