Nepal’s former ambassador Govinda Prashad Lohani passes away

Kathmandu: Nepal’s former ambassador to Pakistan, Govinda Prasad Lohani passed away on Saturday.
93 years old Lohani was also senior Nepali economist, writer and political advisor.
He served as Nepal ambassador’s to Pakistan from 1978 to 1982.
He had served as a member of planning commission of Nepal during King Birendra’s regime and is a founding member of Nepal Rastra Bank.
Reportedly, he had been suffering from respiratory disease. He passed away while undergoing treatment at Mediciti hospital.
