Lawmakers ask for clarification on no-confidence motion

Kathmandu: Chief whip of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Province-1, Buddhi Kumar Raj Bhandari has sought clarification for lawmakers who registered a vote of no confidence against Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai. The chief whip has also directed the lawmakers to withdraw their motion within 24 hours along with clarification.

A total of 37 lawmakers on Sunday had registered the no confidence motion against Rai at the Provincial Secretariat. He added why such proposal was registered against CM Rai without any discussions in the parliamentary party.
