Nepalese Embassy in UK marks Constitution Day

The Nepalese Embassy in the UK organised various programmes from September 18 to 20 to mark the Constitution Day.

On the first day, the Nepalese Embassy in association with the Nepal-UK Trade and Investment Forum organized the Nepal Development Conference. Foreign Minister Pradip Kumar Gyawali, Lord Sheikh, president of the UK –Nepal Trade and Investment Forum, Lord Bilimoria, vice president of the forum, Nicola Pollitt, UK’s Ambassador to Nepal, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, vice-president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Dr Durga Bahadur Subedi, Nepal’s Ambassador to the UK attended the conference.

During the program, the speakers requested investors and businessmen in the UK to invest in Nepal. The speakers also highlighted the benefits of investing in Nepal.

Similarly, on the second day, Saturday, the embassy organized Nepal Music Festival. On this day, Ambassador Dr Subedi conveyed a message on the occasion of the Constitution Day to all the Nepalese staying abroad.

Similarly, on the third day, the embassy organized a virtual conference in collaboration with Nepal-Ireland Society and Ireland-Nepal Chamber of Commerce. During the conference, the participants discussed about opportunities and challenges in areas including education, tourism, trade, business and investment in Nepal and Ireland.
