Bagmati Province starts establishing charging station for electric vehicles

Kathmandu: Bagmati Province has started establishing charging stations for electric vehicles.

Rameshwar Phuyal, minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development of Bagmati Province, said that this initiation will help in management and promotion of electric vehicles.

He said that this is an initiation to discourage the use of petrol and diesel vehicles and to promote electric vehicles.

The minister said that the interested local levels can contact the ministry within 15 days if they want to establish charging stations.
