Coronavirus death toll crosses 1.09 million globally 

 

Agency: A total of 3, 79,139 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed across the world in last 24 hours. According to Worldometers, 6,060 people have lost their lives in the review period. The total coronavirus cases in the world till now is 3, 87, 27,943 (30.87 million). Among them, 10, 96,300 have lost their lives.

As of today, 2,91,10, 968 people have recovered from coronavirus.  The number of active cases is 85,20,685.  Among them 70,065 are in critical stage.

The country with most number of cases is the US. Till now,  81,48,000 people have been infected there. More than 2,21,000 people have lost their lives in the US alone.

The second most affected country is India. More than 73,000,00 people have coronavirus infection in the second most populous country of the world and around 1,11,000 have lost their lives.

Similarly, in Brazil there are 51,41,000 coronavirus infected people. Similarly, 1,51,000 people have lost their lives.  Brazil is the third most affected country.
