European countries planning to reopen schools from next week

Agency: European countries including the UK, France, Spain and others are planning to reopen schools from next week.

With the decline in the number of Covid-19 cases from last week, educational institutions are planning to operate from next week by implementing safety protocols.

Parents and students have been saying that the virtual classes are not as effective as face-to-face classes. The education sector has been affected worldwide since March. Students have not been able to attend school since lockdowns were imposed globally after the coronavirus outbreak.

Although the governments in the European countries have been planning to resume schools, some teaching unions are raising concerns regarding the safety of teachers and students.
