National Assembly meeting today

Kathmandu. The National Assembly (NA) is holding its meeting at 11:15 am today. In today’s meeting, ministers are scheduled to respond to the lawmakers’ concerns raised during the parliamentary discussions on the Appropriation Bill, 2082 under the heading of the Office of the President, Office of the Vice President, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and National Planning Commission Secretariat.
Likewise, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is scheduled to present a proposal for the passage of the Appropriation Bill, 2082, which was received in the NA along with a message from the House of Representatives (HoR).
Similarly, Finance Minister Paudel will present proposals seeking NA’s consideration on the Economic Bill, 2082 and the National Debt Collection Bill, 2082 — both received with the messages from the HoR.
General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Padma Prasad Pandey, shared that Finance Minister Paudel is also scheduled to table a proposal for the NA’s approval to pass the Customs Bill, 2080.
National Assembly Secretary Surendra Aryal shared that the today’s business include presenting the Federal Civil Service Bill for its endorsement along with a message from the HoR. —
